W Kamerunie już czwarty tydzień dzieci mają wakacje. Trwają one przez trzy miesiące. Siostry Michalitki nie odpoczywają, niestrudzenie zajmują się dziećmi i młodzieżą.
We work for the poor people in Africa!
The Fundacja DZIECI AFRYKI /The AFRICAN CHILDREN FUNDATION/ was established on April 15th, 2009 and is the result of several visits of its founders to Africa in late January and February of 2009.
During their visits Paweł Werakso and Robert Noga traveling every day discovered human poverty, including hunger, diseases, suffering, primitive living conditions. The most moving for them was the fate of the elderly, the sick, children and poor families. With each day increased their admiration for the unselfish, hard working and full of self-sacrifice missionaries. They were convinced that when they give a piece of themselves for neddy, they will gain many times more.
Foundation was Register in the National Court Register on June 10th, 2009 under the number KRS 0000331212 and in accordance with the statute operates in favor of the poor people in Africa and other Third World countries.
The Foundation carries out the Millennium Development Goals set out by the United Nations among others:
1. Eliminating extreme poverty and hunger.
2. Providing universal primary education.
3. Reduce child mortality.
4. Improving the health of families.
5. Limiting the spread of HIV / AIDS, malaria and other diseases.
6. Delivery of humanitarian aid.
7. Increasing awareness about the needs of efforts to bridge the causes and consequences of hunger, poverty, disease and illiteracy and the need to help the needy.
The activities of the Dzieci Afryki Foundation since its establishment are directed mainly to the Polish mission in Nguelemendouka in Eastern Province of Cameroon, led by Michalitki Sisters. The Foundation supports missionaries, helping orphan children and the poorest families.
